We dined at the lovely Melting Pot of Easton on Saturday Evening. The atmosphere was lovely, very quiet and personal. Since it was my birthday we sprang for "The Big Night Out" yup, that's 4 courses of WOW!
Round 1: Cheese, Cheese and More Cheese. Ooooolahlah we got the French Themed Cheese Pot with white wine, baby Brie, Fontina, Gruyere an Raclette cheeses. All of which had truffle cream, bacon and chives drizzled on top.
Served with bread, veggies and Granny Smith Apples.
Yum!!!!!!!
Round 2: Salad. A little disappointed in the salads, they were rather unremarkable. You know, green stuff with dressing. Ho-Hum
Round 3: Entree Fondue Style!!
Got the Fondue Fusion: 1 lobster tail (my husband doesn't like lobster, weird right) filet mignon, duck breast, chicken breast, shrimp & veggies to be cooked table side in the Mojo Style. Mojo style is a Caribbean cooking style.
Please Note: all food is served RAW it is imperative that you follow the suggestion of the wait staff for cooking time!!!!! Undercooked chicken is bad for you!
Round 4: Dessert, sweet flaming dessert!
Had the creme Brûlée White chocolate fondue...., D-effin-vine!!! And the waitstaff actually sets it on fire. (Fist Pump) dessert is served with strawberries, brownies, pound cake, and toasted and rolled marshmallow.

They do have great occasion packages, just ask when you make a reservation.
From the Bar: Snizzelfritz- yum and Creme Brûlée Martini ( this gets another fist pump)
Overall the melting pot is great, but a few things should be kept in mind
1. It's pricy, if you don't drink (booze) expect about $100 before tip
2. Dinner takes about 2-2.5 hrs. so if you have lil' monsters at home you better have a sitter who's in for the long haul.
3. NOT KID FRIENDLY! there are no kids meals and stuff on the table could burn your lil' monster. So leave the kids with nana!
4. MAKE A RESERVATION! like I stated above dinner takes 2-2.5 hrs, it is very unlikely that you could be seated anywhere but the bar without one.
Enjoy! Go Fondue!
